THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your great info.! My 9 yr old had a big toe subungual hematoma. The day before I found your site, we thought perhaps we had gotten all the way through the nail with the hot paper clip because the pain became so intense. And since it had been over 3 days since the electric scooter fell onto the toe, and the pain had already greatly reduced, we were thinking that maybe the blood was dried. He was not going to deal with any unnecessary pain so he was done! But I had enough serious doubt to do some more web searching that night. I found your site. It made me realise that with all the days of oozing you dealt with, the blood still needed to be released from under his nail. The next day I had him read your story. Your idea with the pin - that was something he felt confident to do & bingo - the blood spurted out! He was so surprised, & very happy with himself. I am grateful to you. Due to time constraints, I wouldn't normally take time to make a response. I marvel over the realization that of all the researching that I did, reading mostly professional sites, it was your personal detailed story that helped me completely. Not one other site did so. Thank you for spending time telling your story because you thought that it might help someone else. You were right! Karen

Is just a bunch of (stupid) teenagers agaisnt another teenagers, when a teenager everybody wants to be part of something, to be rebel in hi/her own way, I remember that, that is why at that age you decide what to be:
- Sport kind
- Rocker
- Super trendy (fashionista)
- punk
- Goth
- etc.
And there is always fights or issues between this groups, that is what happened. It was an awfull thing, but I also thing is a bunch of "nothing better to do" kids meeting to "party!" of the hundreds in the meeting only 5 where attacking a kid, the others just stay there, why, they really didn't want to do anything, but where afraid of stop it, because then, they will be with the emo and against the "rebelion" so they will be loosers.

This happened a lot in Mexico before, with hippies, rockers, punks... each on a different decade (60's, 70's, 80's)

But grew due to the media, needy for money, which is bad and good, bad because there is a lot of lies in the reports, and good because the goverment is forced to act and prevent this things to happened again.

By the way the march for respect did happened.

The river is a very small, dirty, smelly river with very little water in it. There is a large concrete bed that it "runs" through, although really it just sits and stagnates.

The blue line just north of my house is the path of the river through town. The river is the median between the two directions of the Avenida Universidad. You can make out the path from where it says Rio Queretaro by following the slightly winding line to where I've marked out the blue line.

I'm only a couple of blocks from the river. I'll try to get some pictures of it soon.

I'm very happy to be orientated in Queretaro, but I wonder where the Rio Queretaro goes. I see the name on the right, but I can't make out the path of the river. Are you near it? Maybe in a future update you can try to highlight the river. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos. I'll bet the world heritage site is picturesque,

Ugh. Your post is aptly timed as I just raised a public concern about what to me was an offensive and objectifying comment (posted on the GSB Google Group). The author responded with something unintelligible and derogatory. (Typical.) I am forwarding you the text via email so you can read for yourself. It made me sick to my stomach.
